Dr. WeipingCai, Professor of Institute of solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He got B.S.(1982) and Master (1984) at Northeast University, and PhD at Huazhong University of Science & Technology (1995) in material sciences. Since 1997, he has been working at Institute of solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as professor, and focusing on the synthesis, assembly and physics & chemistry of nanoparticles, and micro/nanostructured array and devices. He has one monograph, one co-authored book, more than 250 publications in the international journals, more than 1,1000 times in SCI citation (H-index: 55) and more than 30 authorized invention patents. He is also an editor-in-chief of “International Journal of Nanoparticles” (Inderscience).

Current research interests:Micro/nanostructured metamaterials and devices; Physics and chemistry of nanoparticles;Micro/nano-powder materials and applications.
